So dozens of people were just murdered using…. a truck. This horrendous act illustrates all too well just how absurd it is to try to make it impossible for anyone to do evil things. Where are the calls for “truck control”?
It’s totally ridiculous and indicative of cognitive dissonance to believe it’s even remotely possible to remove the MEANS to do evil. I mean, unless you or your rulers in “government” have some sorta magic way to make all guns disappear, all knives disappear, all trucks, all cars, all fists, all tire irons, all axes, all baseball bats… well, you get the point!
We live in a world where almost everyone is easy to kill, and anyone determined to kill a bunch of people can do it rather easily.
What is far more reasonable to focus on is MOTIVE: why do people WANT to harm other people? Personal malice is one cause. Mental instability is another. But by far the BIGGEST cause is…. the belief in “authority.” It might be a religion, a cult, a gang, or some other “boss” telling his underlings to do evil crap, but most of the time it is “government” giving the orders to commit violent aggression.
To wit, one psycho crashing a truck into a crowd and killing dozens of people is extremely unusual, and therefore noteworthy. “Government” militaries—including the U.S. military—killing a hundred civilians in a day is so commonplace and expected that it rarely even gets mentioned. In fact, if shootings and other murders committed by agents of “government” were reported as loudly and as often as private murders, you would be hearing about “government”-created atrocities 24 hours a day. Then people might start to have an ACCURATE view of reality, of what they should fear, and of what needs to change.
